Carol is generous. She enjoyed being a crossing guard, but had to give it up because of her health. I hope that the liver transplant will allow her to get her life back!

What a generous giveaway! What struck me the most with Carole's story is that she is truly a giving person, as she threw herself in front of a car to save a kid! My prayers are with her!

That fact that she had to give up her crossing guard duties touched me. I drive a school bus and know to that if I had to give it up I would really miss the kids.
I have a friend who had a liver transplant when she was 25 and she is now 46 and going strong. I hope everything works out for Carol too.

I want to Thank you all for doing what you are doing for my friend Carole. Carole has the biggest heart; I know first hand. My niece, who is not related to her by blood, has a terrible drug problem, and is mentally ill. Hardly anyone who is blood related wanted to help her, but Carole did. She went out of her way to give her rides, feed her, or just be a friend to her. she is a remarkable woman. This is why it is so difficult seeing this good woman suffering as she is.
Thank you again, and please, keep Carole in your prayers.

Carole sounds like a wonderful woman. One who has given of herself for so many years..always serving others. I know in my own life that is lacking....I can't help with $$ for her transplant, but I can offer up prayers on her behalf. God knows all she and her family are going through and His timing is perfect...He is in control.

She sounds like a fantastic, giving person. That she would be injured by throwing herself in front of a car to protect a child is such a selfless act. I will crunch my budget and see what I can do to help. My prayers are with her and those who love her.

Reading carole's story I teared up. She seems like a very giving, caring woman. I wish she was able to be a crossing guard still as it seems like it was a passion for her. I hope the universe and karma come together to give her the help she needs.

It struck me the most about her being a crossing guard. When I see the kids at my son's school who have to walk, and they're so little, I'm very grateful for the crossing guards!!
